It's one of those days

A few days ago, my family and I went out for lunch. When we finished and were walking back to our car, we saw this slightly older(probably around 50) man and a younger lady(maybe around 35) walking together, suggesting they're probably in some sort of a romantic relationship. My mom immediately turned and stared at them, and I could feel in her mind, she was already judging them.

I hate it that people judge other people ALL THE TIME. Whether you notice it or not. Whether its intentional or accidental. I think its the fear of judgment that stops many people from doing things that they wanna do, chasing dreams and voicing opinions. I think many times that fear stopped me from doing/sayings things I wanna do/say too.

I also think its not something that can be easily switched on or off though. If a drunk, slightly hot-tempered man walks in a restaurant you're dining in, you're probably not gonna smile at him if he looks at you right? In your mind you're probably thinking "alcoholic, no stable life, waste money on alcohol, unemployed, does he have a family etc etc." I'm guilty of it too.

As much as I hate being judged, I hate it when I'm judgmental too.
